Practical information

Groups

For the 2025-2026 school year, children will be divided into three groups:

ages 3-4 (corresponding to Petite and Moyenne Sections)
ages 5-7 (corresponding to Grande Section/CP/CE1)
ages 8-11 (corresponding to CE2/CM1/CM2)

Les enseignements du matin seront donnés par groupe. L’après-midi, les enfants seront tous ensemble ou répartis différemment selon leurs besoins, leurs affinités et les activités proposées.

This grouping is subject to change depending on enrollment. The choice of group for a child is made in accordance with his capacities and the composition of the group.

Schedules

The school is open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, from 8:30 to 16:30.
Children of the 3rd group are to attend school Wednesday morning, as well, from 8:30 to 12:00.
In the morning, the children may arrive beginning at 8:00.
After 16:30, an extended day program will be considered if requested.
Two afternoons per week, beginning at 12:00 PM, an adjusted schedule is possible so that children may participate in extra-curricular activities. The personal project the child will be completing will be described as part of the adjusted schedule agreement.

3-4 years

Families with children who are 4 years old may also request an adjusted schedule two afternoons per week for an activity that benefits the child, for example to develop a deeper relationship with grandparents.
Children who are 3 years old may attend school only in the mornings, and parents should arrange this with the school in advance.
Students who are 3 years old who stay at school in the afternoons will have a longer midday break, including time for a nap.

Calendar

The school will be open** from September 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026.
School vacations are in accordance with the calendar of the National Education, Zone B.

**Opening of the school is dependent on meeting the conditions for opening set by the National Education. If these conditions have not been met by September 1, 2025, the opening date of the school may be deferred.

Lunch

Meals are prepared by the parents. They will be warmed up at lunch time.
Recommendations for meals and snacks will be given at the beginning of the school year. The school is not responsible for the prepared lunch’s quality.

Teachers and helpers will have lunch and break together with the children. This continuity contributes to building a relationship of trust between the children and the adults supervising them.

Facility

The school will be located in Velaux. We are currently in rental negotiations to occupy a new building in the Verdière area of Velaux.

Tuition Rates

We are an independent school and are therefore self-supporting, primarily through tuition.
To permit the greatest number of families possible to enroll their children in our school, a scholarship system is planned based on the incomes of the two parents (împosition and CAF) and the family’s composition (number of shares).
